Good work [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] I'm not one for the old cloth but your craftsmanship on the kicks for your 1st time appears very good. Did you use a router or jigsaw for your speaker rings and such?
There are only a few mistakes on the vinyl.
The one was a really odd shape and couldn`t be covered properly. it kinga wrinled in spots.
I used a band saw to make the rings
and routed them with a 1/2" roundover.
Things I would do differently.
- Think about the finish (covering) before forming the shape.
- Use THIN fleece to cover kps and build them up from the inside.
