By the time you start adding in all the other factors (wiring, etc) it's a lot more than you think.

420guy's deal is an excellent one. You will want a new head unit if the car has a stock one. I just bought an 02 Cavy for my daily commuter. It had an amp wired up in it already. I added a sub box and 2 10s' I had kicking around. The problem though is the factory CD player has built-in equalization in it to compensate for the weak factory speakers. It boosts bass at low volume levels and then really backs it off when you turn it up. Highly annoying. The car has just a simple line-out converter to make using RCA cables possible for the amp and this does nothing to alleviate the factory eq issue. So, putting in a new head unit solves that problem and 420guy's deal includes one. Jump on it.

Did you need to get the pac thingy for the doors chimes etc? How much was it and where did you get it?
Thanks
Nick

The chime module is needed....IF you need the chimes. When I put one of my head units in I will 99% probably not put that module in.
