First Digital Display Head unit from Clarion

I guess I'm trying to find this out just for nostalgia reasons but I'm trying to figure out the model & hopefully find a pic & details of a head unit I bought in around 1984.
It was a Clarion and I was told at the time that it was the first head unit to have a digital display. Get ready for this: I paid $1500 for it! I bought it from Kelly's Stereo Mart on George St. in Peterborough (if anyone remembers Roger, the owner)
I may be wrong but something tells me it was a dead head (no internal amp).
Does anyone remember this model or have any info on it? I sure would love to read some info and see a pic of it just for sheitzzz & giggles.
It replaced a fairly new Craig unit I had stolen out of my 73 Camaro during a night time smash a grab in a parking garage in Hamilton.
