I have just purchased a 10 inch dual 4 ohm alpine type x. What size box would be good for an s10 blazer, also what's a good amp to run it. I was thinking hifonics 1606d but I'm unsure yet.

 

have you at least read the manual or spec sheet that comes with it or is available from the Alpine web site? that would be a good place to start to learn about what you purchased

 

depends on a million different factors. You want it to be as loud as possiblle.. looking to make it as musically accurate as possible?. play as deep as possible. All that is box dependant.

For an amp..any clean amp that makes over 800Wrms is plenty.
