So if your install was done by IASCA's director..does that automatically give you extra points?

Um no it's a conflict of interest....plus not the whole install was done by Jason - he guided me, built and finished the pieces I couldn't do in the trunk....

Plus there is also two other CCA members who have their hands and minds in this install too.....MTT and FOZZZ

im still confused how well that sub will sound with air leaking out? also wouldn't it be more efficint to have it in a biger air space or do you just don't care about SPL and this is all for to sound good and clear and not hit hard.

PS: im a noob

the carpetting and the distance the air has to travel around the baffle board with all the restriction pretty much makes it unnoticable.

noob or not, it's a fair question, and no, SPL or "thump" doesn't matter much, although I assume it will still hit relatively hard, high quality hits though.

and Fozz is right, if and WHEN you tear up your class at finals, it's you and all you....nobody wins without some help.

Looking good Jules!!

That 12 only needs to play from 18 to about 33hz, the L8's will do the rest... and do it very well!!

Guys...The well is fully sealed...We secured the bottom plate with bolts but before it received a load of PL prem. Then the carpeted amp rack layer acts as a seal to the bottom carpeted plate....This ensure a good seal.

As for thump....Gain is at 0 and NF is around 5-10 and it's a great blend.

The sound so far is great...can't wait to have 30hz and up in the kicks maybe lower but time will tell.

MTT and FOZZZ you guys are part of this build even if you didn't take part in the physical process.
