I need a pair of xover's to put on my a1's....all i could find on short notice was.some alpine dddrive xover's...but reading in an old post i see alot of people knocking the speakers and,,paticularly the xovers,,did i make a noob mistake...or will these work fine

(((I found that the DDDrive series speakers sounded VERY nasal. The biggest innovation in the DDDrive series is an Injection Form Magnet.
If you use a different x/o they sound OK, but with the supplied X/O they get a thumbs down from me. As for the $80, altho I agree, I'd say look for something else, because you will want to change them soon. $40 isn't much of a loss, and at that point may be worthwhile to look into a better X/O .)))
