Frozen Winters
#1
Up here in Minnesota it is finnally starting to get really cold. Freezing tempuratures are real hard on the engine so i started thinking, wut about my electronics? My truck sits outside so it gets really cold during the night then i gotta start it up in the morning.
¤ QUESTION-Do you think that playing my CDplayer/amplifier/subwoofers while it is freezing out is bad for them? Cuz i would happily take them out of my truck for the winter.

hmmm. i dont think its that bad i mean everything would contract. IMO my speakers play better in the winter due to they aint all hot and they suck when they are hot. my deck has an lcd screen and it just says low temp on it and doesnt refresh thats about it. in the morning just let your truck heat up there problem solved ;p

I had a small experience once with my Alpine deck in -35c. It turned on but the screen wouldn't even light up or show at all. I tried everything to get it working but it wouldn't. I finally reset the deck and it came back to life.
