fuse in the amp keeps blowing...?

well i just purchesed a kenwood KAC 8404 amp. perfect for what i need... but. i went to install it, i changed my power wireing so it's better... to 4G instead of 8G. added a distro block but i still have a problem... my sub amp works fine, no problems there. but when i go to connect the 4 ch i keep blowing the 40A fuse that's in the amp... it's gay, i don't know what the hell the problem is. i've backtracked everything and havn't seen a short or a problem anywhere and when my sub amp works perfectly... yeah. so the only thing i could come up with is the amp is a dud... which means i have to send it away... which means no music untill i git it back fixed or a new one... which could mean another 2 weeks!!!
Shoulda just bought the alpine from best buy...

but does anyone have any solutions as to what the problem could be... that could be fixable without being too costly or time consuming?

how is the amp mounted?

if the fuse on the amp is blowing, then its probably something internal that is grounding out and causing it to blow.

if you can, open up the amp and check to see if anything looks burnt or deformed in any way. look hard too, sometimes its the smallest thing

Count on any amp repair being over the $115.00 mark. If the fuse is blowing, it is a internal problem with the amp and it needs to go for service.
