fuse/wire/distro block question
#12
if you like bass you will upgrade later trust me. its an addiction. keep your 4gauge run the 2gauge or bigger. even if you have to downsize the wire from lets say 0gauge to 4gauge theres an adapter for it. the reason im saying this is that if you upgrade 1 year later cause the bass isnt enough for you anymore... well now you wont have to change that wire AGAIN
i am also into lots of bass and SQ. and 1000watts isnt even enough for me anymore lmao

BigRed: Thanks.
Dan: Hey, well I'm going to first try uses the current 4 gauge, do the big 3 with 4 gauge and see what happens. I looked up various charts, for 125 amps @10-13 feet, 4 gauge should be ok... Found my old dist block 4 in, 8 out so keeping the wires short should allow me to keep things more cost effective for now.
If after all that, lights/system is dimming, then yeah then I gotta shell out another $75 for wires/connectors and find time to run a new power wire....
Thanks for the tips guys, wish me luck, it's all going down on Sat!
