Future build, need help with electrical setup
Hey there guys, The Solo X's just havent been doing it for sound quality for me.
I currently have a American Bass 500.1 but I will be downgrading to two US Amps Merlin M2D2's which are rated at 1500w RMS @ 1 ohm. 5000w RMS is a little too much for my daily driver :P
This will give me 3000w RMS to work with.. I was thinking of purchasing two 2 RE AUDIO MX12D1's. I have been really impressed with RE's subwoofers they sound amazing and pound hard.
I have a question about electrical, I still need to purchase a new vehicle so thats undecided as of now. But it will be most likely a car so this system is going in a trunk. It's going to be hard to fit it all in a trunk but I am determined.
Both the Merlin M2D2's are going to be a big power draw, and I have my Alpine MRP-F600 that will be powering my mids.
Would I be able to get away with having one good battery under the hood? Or would I need to go with another in the trunk? I could do one under the hood and one in the trunk but I am thinking that is all I will be able to fit. I am thinking XS Power or Kinetik for batteries.
Comments, suggestions.
