Thumbs down

I seriously advise against dealing with these guys. Impressive product line-up, for sure, but elemental is starting to take over Canadian sales which is very good because then you get the top-shelf post-purchase support of elemental. As soon as they got my money, I haven't heard back from GCA.
GCA won't ship my item even though they are supposed to have them. They should have gotten them last week (according to what they said THEMSELVES) and sent them out last week too. But no.
they never answer their e-mails. ever. I sent them an e-mail in August asking when the subs would ship, no answer, another e-mail in September asking when they would ship, no answer, another e-mail in September asking for a refund of my money... no answer!!! they just pretended they never got it! another e-mail in October to change my order from a dual 4 to a dual 2, this is the only one they ever answered. I've since given up on hearing back from them. I wouldn't mind so much except there came a point where I really needed the money, asked for this refund of my $165, and never got it. I had to sell my snowboard instead (**** you, GCA).
For Christ's sake, I am talking to elemental themselves right now about what we are going to do about this whole problem with the distributor.

seriously now, this is no way to run a business. GCA sucks. If maybe they only missed one or two e-mails, no problem. they didn't know when they would ship anyway. But they missed a request for an order cancellation and they just flat-out ignored it. They say refunds are available any time before the order ships. They won't answer my e-mails now. They apparently aren't even answering phone calls from Ben. this is bull****. I want my sub and fuse holder, since the $165 isn't going to buy me **** anymore.

I've bought a few times and no problems. My 13kv2 came last week and is currently pounding away happily. They had some domain name trouble last week. Its all been cleared up now.

I've dealt with Jon a few times and always had great service. He resonded to my emails quickly and I never had a problem getting hold of him by phone. He was just as happy to shoot the sh*t for half an hour as he was to sell anything. Great guy...there must be something wrong.

I have very good reason to believe Jon and Martine are very busy dealing with some issues outside of work which is what is making them unavaliable.

I don't believe anyone there has any reason they would intentionally to do anyone wrong ( I don't believe they are that sort of people). I myself have been trying to reach GCA for about a week now with little to no luck. I truely believe they have something going on that must be deterring them from being avaliable. I have spoken with 5 or 6 people via email today concerning GCA and as soon as I have any information regarding them I will be sure to forward that information through to you.

I am also trying to reach them. Just so you know any situatoin that needs to be resolved will be and I'll be here assisting any GCA customers the best I can in their absense.

They are good people. I hope we can all get this sorted soon.

PreOrders are subject to delays. If you want to cancel something from eD, pick up a phone, call, PM. doesn't really matter. pretty easy all in all.

I'm trying to help for crying out loud. fyi, any 16Kv.2 has been packaged at the shop for weeks and weeks. Us not shipping something isn't a issue. Sometimes new production takes time. However NINe.X amps, eDi's, Kv.2's and now Ov.2's are all rolling out the doors.

Sorry I guess. I'm trying to offer a explanation for people trying to get ahold of GCA or act as a outlet for them for some possible information.

If you go to www.icixsound.com you'll find literally hundreds of users who have recieved pre order items (while there are actually thousands of pre order products from just this last year roaming the globe).

I guess I do more harm then good. I'll step out of this I guess.

There is absolutly NO reason to sensationalize it like there's some deep dark thing going on or like it's a joke. I myself would really like to know what is going on, but at the same time, I'm concerned for people I would consider friends. I'm just trying to offer to anyone in a similar situation a outlet that maybe I can remedy for them.

My apologies if I stirred someone up somehow. Wasn't my intention, nor is it.

MaNiC! those are some bold words. I have no problem with eD, sure it took a while, but theyre not like Alpine or Rockford or any big box companies. They cant leverage their suppliers like others can. Ben and co. did their best to keep everyone happy even though it took a while. I have my 13kv2 like I said, so the preorders definitely ship. I dont know where you get this BS about it never shipping. Im glad Ben came in and responded to that. I think eD offers a great product at a great price. It would be awefully hard to find a big box company selling a product at the same price point that is eqivalent to what online companies do.

As far as Jon and Martine are concerned, everyone is busy this time of year and theyre doing their best. If you cant get a hold of them give them a call.
