Gettin My Sub Installed!

^agreed. 10 bucks is quite cheap for passive parts.
Tri-mode is ok, but why not just use deck power untill you can afford a new amp.
I ran my old Soundstream 2ch for some time in Tri-mode and was not that pleased with the results

Pthhh.. not a bad price I guess, but I'd keep the highs on the deck and bridge the amp on the sub... maybe you can use the $30 you save on the passive for a 12" instead of a 10...

12s can 'keep up' just fine... accuracy or 'transient response' will depend on the box
anyway, if the amp is trimode capable, I guess do what you want.. but Iam with sux on this one...
I'd rather be able to use the active Xover and just bridge the sub.. you will probably give it a more power then if you are sharring current with 6x9s or whatever you plan on running... (this depends on the amp, though)

fraid not, 150x1rms mono (candience/20A fuse) is likely all you are going to get... tri mode or not...
running trimode is akin to running a 4ohm load in parallel with an 8ohm load bridged on the 2 channels...
Basically the amp is 3ohm stable when bridged.. but just because it can handle the load without shutting down dosne't mean its putting out more power then it would at 4ohms...
This is typical of most 'tri mode capable' amps.. You will probably give the sub less power on top of loosing your Xover controls...
I would honestly use it just for the sub for now.. save up, get a real sub amp, and use this one for some mids/highs upfront...
oh ya, and a 12 instead of a 10 unless you are way short on spare room...
