So i installed a cheapie setup in the girlies car. Today, going for a drive, the battery light indicator turns on. Shes running a PG xs2500 and a 12" HX2 sub. She just got her alt replaced a few months back and a new batt. Could the sound system be draining that much from the car?
Its weird cause i ran 2 amps on my car (301m and a 4004) without even having dimming problems for 2 years now. What do you guys think? And how should i fix the problem? HELP!

check the alt for output, it's possible that the rectifier blew up.
remanufactured alts can have many diferent grades of parts.
it's difficult to get a high quality unit,as many rebuilders just replace whatever failed, throw brushes in ,and test it.
