as long as the subs can be wired to either 1 or 2 ohms total...then yes...250 for that amp is a steal assuming it's as stated in the add.

A) That amp is a beast and the ad seems too good to be true
B) It would work for 2- D4ohm SA12's *Those are dual 4ohm coil subs. Each D4 sub could be wired to 2 ohms, and then wired in parallel to present a 1ohm load to the amp. After box rise you should be closer to 1.5-2ohms anyway, which is an OK load if your car's electrical is up to it.

to good to be true? i was wondering the same thing, idk if its possibly stolen.. or broken. i dont care if its stolen, but if hes not able to test it for me how will i know if it works or not.

is it possible that its really too powerful to power his subs??
i thought u could just turn it down all the way or something, why would he buy a $600 amp thats too powerful..

If you give a driver (tweet/mid/sub; doesnt matter) a clean, unclipped singal and don't cause the driver to distort, you can feed it far more than its RMS rating.
Lots of people don't know that, but then lots of people apparently don't know what distortion sounds like, either
If you could see the amp in action in the guy's car your biggest worry would be the stolen factor. If bad karma doesn't bother you, so be it.
Alternately, you could jury-rig alligator clips for ground, remote/+12V and an iPod for signal and test it in less than a minute on any car battery.

IMO it's too good to be true. If he only used it for a week it's so close to new he could sell it for closer tothe $600 it sells for ONLINE, at best.
Take this FWIW to you
