Is This A Good Idea and Will It Give Good Sound

I am think about sticking a Pioneer 2 Channel Amplifier (750 watt max) in my ride along with one Pioneer 12" Subwoofer (800 watt max) along with my stock speakers because there really decent speakers

I want the car to pump but I don't want the bass to be too overwhelming, will this work properly with good sound or will I need an amp with more watts

What do you guys think? Any advice?

First off, why do you need 750 watts max (which means look at the rms rating) to run two speakers? What you should do is buy a used (sony or kenwood or any name brand not pyle or other crap) 50 watt rms x 2 @ 4ohm amp for around $50.
Secondly, never put an amp on stock speakers. It will most likely blow them, and it will not be worth it. Spend $70 on some after market speakers and attatch a $50 amp and be done. It will sound alot better, cost alot less, and not blow your speakers. Be sure there are no factory amps in your car.

I can only hope to god you have an aftermarket deck.
