ok thx, I am also looking at these: http://www.genuinecanadianaudio.com/...roducts_id=227 cuz I searched on the net for them, and it seems that people are very happy with them, they say they are extremly clear SPL subs, and for less then $2000 I can get 4 of them and 2 higher end component sets.... so I think I am leaning more that way...

I dont know too much about those subs, but knowing CDT, I'd say that should sound a lot cleaner than what you have now. Plus it will be great to have four matching subs, as opposed to a few different ones. Are you planning on getting a component set for your rear speakers? If so, I would save your cash, and just pick up a decent set of coaxial speakers. The CDT slim series are great for rear fill, inexpensive, and will get the job done nicely.
