Got a new truck.. what should I do for a stereo?

I got a 1994 GMC Sonoma. Its got 222,801.1 ish km's on it.
Its a regular cab and its not a stepside.
I've got body work to do on it before I get the stereo stuff going, just wondering what you guys think I should put in it?
I was thinkin 2 12.2 Orion HCCA and a Hifonics amp, replace the stock speakers and get a better deck. But I've never dealt with Orion.... nor have I did a blowthrough...
What would you guys reccomend for a setup.. budgets around 1500 for now for everything. I wont have such money until I start working, but 1500 is the plan.
Heres some pictures.
