Amen, I have about 12 of those, all different sizes and styles..............

Air powered is always going to do it better and quicker not to mention the Dual Action air sanders work in 2 different motions which is always going to sand better and straighter.

Spend the money right one time and don't waste money.............tools are fun but not worth wasting money over........

For those of you with fully outfitted install bays at your disposal it may not be worth a look. For us DIYers with a small tool budget, it can certainly help over nothing at all.

What does having a install bay have to do with it ? We still have to buy all our own tools...............why buy 5 $10 items and have them all die or buy a $50-60 item once and have it last for years...............having a install bay has jack $hit to do with thinking smart with money.........

I want to buy air tools, becouse I have a nice air compressor to match it... But yeah thats a good point, dont waste your money on something for 10$ if its just goin to brake on you, none the less it is still good deal... I would probably get one becouse the budget is tight right now for me, until things start to boom and i accually start to work!

I've got a bunch of mastercraft tools, and they're all really solidly built.. haven't had one break yet.

So you walked into a completely bare install bay when you started with FS? Employers don't expect their installers to bring ALL their tools. So when you don't have to worry about buying a table saw, table sander, air compressor or whatever other big ticket items than money can be spent on better 'small' tools like routers, sanders, drills, etc.

I've had no issues with the one I bought. I would like to get a d/a sander though as an upgrade in the future.
