I think you just answered your own question. I think all three have to do with it. In order to make power usefull you need to have proper tuning and once you have proper tuning you gain dB. You dont see the hair trick happening with 138 dB systems lol.

has to do with port area and how low you can play. its all about how much air u can toss.
