hard hitting

hello everyone.. i need some help.. i can't decide what to buy for subs.. i want to do up to 4 subs in my truck. can't decide whether to go with 8" or 10" subs.. have had both...and like both... in this build i want to get the hardest hitting bass i can get without going into hardcore competition subs.. i am only going to be running a single PG tantrum 1200.1 .. so i need to know in all your opinions.. what is the hardest hitting, punch you in the back, subwoofer you know of.... but like i said i am not wanting relay to go with hardcore subs like DD 9510's ... looking to put in up to 4 subs.. 8's or 10's ..thanks in advance to everyone who responds

I would go with 8" subs....less air space and the right woofer will give you tons of punch with that big amp.

I would do 4 x 10", all svc and all in the proper enclosure. The DD510 or 1510 would be a good start with the power you have available. The only thing in the way right now is the proper box, is this a reg cab or xcab pickup? Where is the box going to go and how much room for it do you have?

What kind of box do you have for your L7? Sometime just changing the box can make a difference...
