home depot and rona sell it. All you really need to do is goto the roofing dept in them and look for similar products. peal & seal is 1mm thick, ive seen stuff thick as 2.5mm, all comes down to price and the amount you want

No. It is a self adhesive asphalt sheet that us used to help waterproof roof sheathing before the shingles go on. Some believe it can be used as a cheap alternative to a real sound damping product. I don't recommend it.
