I'm sure there are ppl in CCA who has have the imprint box. You can just rent it for a day or two to tune it. After all, it's all automatic and you can't make any changes after you tuned it.

Alpine...price to performance is very good for this unit.

Alpine is the only brand of headunits i will ever use. I've owned every other brand over the a long period with some problem or another. As far as my personal experience I have never had a problem with the six Alpines I have owned.

number 1 sound and 2001 audio/video and i think many best buy's carry alpine now

i would look into the cda 9835...thats one of my fav alpine decks

i know the 9887 is just the 9886 with imprint built in and no usb, but if they infact share displays and all that crap, i highly recomend using something diffrent, i have a 9886 and have nothing but issues with it, when its cold the display cuts in and out, and when u push buttons on the face(cold or warm) it blacks out and u end up having to push the same button 3-4 times before anything happens.

and the remote double presses sometimes

other than that its alright, i really should bring it back tho, probably just a deffective unit
