which would you choose
I have onyl two choices here as the gift certificate I got is for A&B sound so I'm
limited in what I can buy. They carry JL/ALPINE/MTX and CLARION
First choice:JL e1400d
Second:JL 500/1
all it is doing is pushing two jl 12w1's in a box

the 500/1 is a much better amp of the two, and puts out more power, especially because it's puts out 500W @ 1.5-4 Ohm, as well as with fluctuating battery voltage... if it's just between those 2, the 500/1 is the easy choice....
