headunit question

headunit question

hi everyone!i just made a post the other day about cutting off my factory harness.Im just wondering that my clock on the car is not working because the headunit is not connected.Is this normal?

No. You probably shorted and cooked the fuse that runs both the dash clock and the memory on the radio. Your really should take it to someone who knows what they are doing...

Damn dude, Why did you need to cut the factory harness off? Shouldn't it be a plug?

you've obviously been out of car audio a long time...there are adapter plugs available for just about every model of vehicles now. No need to cut and splice like back in the day anymore, now it's just solder and shrink tube to your head unit and plug in.
