I wish I was you right about now.

When will you run some testing on the new E8As?

As far as I can remember those subs work in the same box as the normal eD 8a's. You cannot run them sealed though. I was thinking of picking up a pair of those awhile back but a pair of 15's got the better of me.

Do they still have flat cones?

Just curious because I thought they said they were not going to be using them any more.

The flat cones are available still in limited numbers of the 8a and the o series will continue with the flat cones aswell.

I believe those 8's were $250 or $350US shipped, dont quote me on that.

Well I have done some testing with that e8A.44, the small one in the pics . Awesome driver, but its still an 8" sub.

As for the 2 "Big 8's"? Well it will most likely be a month or so before I even have the time to throw some power to them. When I do however I will be giving each one 1100-1200W rms, a Interfire IFD 1000C on each.

Biggest problem IMO with these big "little" subs is that they end up requiring a somewhat large box (when ported) due to driver displacement and amout of port area, resulting in port length, need. I mean this thing can move about 22mm ONE WAY
