Ok today I had a huge problem and it's confusing the heck out of me.

This is how power is setup.
2 Lead wires from battery to amps.
Lanzar 1000.1 Amp linked
to a 4channel Audiobahn D-Series amp

Problem.
The lead wire to the "Sub" amp melted and grounded out on the engine block. The part that was melted was between the fuse and the battery.
So i replaced the whole power wire to that amp and started it back up. now i have an extreme amount of static. I had a slight bit of alternator whine before the incident but im getting whine while the engine is off. Last thing, when i turn the car off the subs hit.

Someone please drop a thought cause this is really confusing me.

I'd make my first order of business, to figure out why that wire melted... what size was that wire? and what was the fuse rated at?
Then figure out the static issue, as other equipment might get damaged in the process, if there are electrical issues.

regards, Mark

4guage wire. It melted because it Rubbed against the exaust manifold. I made a custom wire management channel to prevent future Melting

still cant figure out where the static is coming from

Maybe try putting a new ground from engine to chassis/chassis to battery, could they have melted to?
Might wanna consider these.
