Hey guys. I'm looking to upgrade my sub and amp, and the one quality that I need my new system to achieve is "impact". It seems easy to put together a system and get loud bass that knocks your mirror off your windshield, that's great. But what I want is the bass that literally feels like you are getting kicked in the chest when it hits. Hopefully most of you know what I'm talking about. I have not heard very many systems that are good at this. Can anyone help steer me in the right direction?

 

If you want great impact then don't look at your sub - look at your midbass. 6.5" or larger and lots of power.
