I hope this is the right size box for those subs. Do you know what the air space of it is? Is it a sealed or ported box? If it is not the right size they will sound like crap and you will definately not be happy with them. Trust me I just spent 3 years thinking I had crappy subs. When I bought them I just threw them in a prefab box. I just put them in a box I built to spec for them and they are way louder now and sound much better. There are a few members on here that can tell you exactly what sixe box will work best for those subs.

Unfortunately.....no........according to Infinity and Best Buy, that box is only 2/3 the size for the recommended ported box you should have for those subs. Considering Infinity themselves say the sealed box can be up to 30% larger than the standard .75cuft, those subs might actually sound better in that box if you seal the ports with a few old rags or something.....

If you want to try them anyway, you may have a problem returning the box if there are screw holes in it. If space is at a premium, I would suggest going for a sealed enclosure. For the $100 you spent on the prefab, you could buy a prefab sealed box closer to the right size.....or better yet.....the materials to build one the right size for your subs be it sealed or ported.

As long as you have the switches on the woofers set for 4ohms and wire the drivers in parallel, your amp will have the proper load to deliver all 500w it's capable of. That will get you some pretty good bass.....which will go along nicely with the rest of the equipment you purchased.

Sounds like a pretty nice system....have fun with the new toys.....

HTH
