HELP.Is this too good to be true???
I went to local Best Buy to check out decks.I have 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD.The guy there said he would install deck(not price of deck) with steering wheel controls, put in my CDT 6 1/2's in doors,5 1/4's in rear doors with dynamat, install power, ground, power antenna, fuses, both ED amps and hook up sub box I allready have installed for $350.Now I work alot and have installed quit a bit but that's definately worth my time.Do you think there are any catch's or is that pretty regular?thanks

in my opinion you should def not trust ontario best buy. they are rather sketchy. go to a big futureshop and they will do a much better job. MUCH MUCH better. i have seen some of the installs that come out of best buy and it looks like a three year old did them.
as far as price wise. thats standard. most people charge the same.

honestly future shop and best buy between the pair of them, couldn't insert a dick in there a$$ without a map.... both there installs are ugly and half a$$ed MOST of the time, the wiring is sloppy and too small a gauge, and generally not very pretty if you ever want to change anything.
As far as price, it sounds like a fairly average price for the install. I did full 2 amp, front speakers, rear speakers, deck, and all wiring, rca etc for 200 bux and a case of beer LOL

Honestly, u can really get sweet deals on just about any kind of service if you approach the person on the Low and ask if he/she will do it outside of work... I pulled up beside some plumbing van and asked the guy if he was the owner, when he said no I told him to write my number down and call me later for a job...Guess what, he called and I saved mucho deniros. Works good especially when people don't see the whole amount, only their hourly pay, wouldn't you rather make like 3 times the amount and do it after work one day> And score a cold case of beer or whatever...? Life is good like that.
Also worked with a tile guy who reno'd a bathroom in one of my houses...My Dad tought me that one a long time ago. Why pay future shop when you can pay the guy who actually does the work?
