Word. But Like i just got this Srx 1d and it's blown three subs already im in the process of buying new ones! just wanted to know if any one had any info on this beast?

hello everyone happy to see intrest in the italian made car audio.
hertz electromedia and audison are very reputable manufactures in my opinion and build a excellent product.i have been experimenting with these products for 4 years and found the quality of manufacture is very excellent.
Custom Polishing and Wax is located in Quesnel b.c and we are authorized to sell hertz /audison prducts.thankfully hertz electromedia has helped Custom Polishing and Wax to represent with our 1986 honda crx.

{2} hsx 380 d 15inch subwoofers in a 1.5 inch thick glassed in -out slot port custom enclosure located as a wall in mid car.
hsk 165-3 3 way components 6.5 inch mid woofer,3.5 inch mid and soft dome tweeters i then added the hsk 8 inch woofer in a glass foot well sealed pod.
to power all this i use the HP-KD1 mono block 1x2200 rms @2 ohm
and the HP 5 channel 900 watt to run the front stage.
the head unit is panasonic for sound offs and a jvc for multi channels.
the power system is all o gauge audison and audison sonus rca cables
power is supplied by kinetik power cells.

this car has hit 150 db in early testing with "big marty" helping out one late nite in the shop ,we won the 08 prospectors car club sound off with a 149.7 db.

this august 23 09 will be a sound off at the prospectors annual steak out car show located downtown quesnel.call 1-250-992-0909 for early registration
come check it out there is trophys and free stuff come and compete for braggin.

DLS wishes...I had them and Nobeliums 2-ways recently, which is DLS top of the line, and I have Hertz MLK2, and DLS has no hope in hell, as MLK2 is in another league by far. DLS does not even make anything that high end to compete with MLK2/MLK3. To each their own, and someone in Germany likes their DLS. Also high-end DLS dont like high power and blow up easily. I am completely disaapointed in DLS component speakers for my application. DLS Iridium and Nobelium subs however are better than Hertz Mille subs imo, but Mille subs are also amazing.

 

Welcome to the forum. Focal however is a no "wannabe". Focal has been and is and if they keep it up it will be. Great speaker company and on top of the list for highend gear.

 

I agree 100%. I wanted to get personal experience with Hertz for a while, and when I finally have had the pleasure, I did not have hyped up expectations and just went with it, so I was neautral, and I was blown away by the overall quality for build and sound at every level. I honestly did not expect to get such a good reaction, cause I dont get excited easily, but Hertz made me feel like a complete noob again giggling with excitement. Their higher end amps also have a good look to them. Thumbs up to Hertz entire line-up.

I am still new to my MLK2's, so we'll see if Hertz continues to impress me.

 

im gonna kick this topic one more time.just installed hertz hsk163s 3 way components into a 08 sirrus.3 way kits fit nice with the mid range located {slightly}high in the dash panel and countersunk the tweets in the A pillar firing across the mids.i gave the usual cascade sound control on the lower front door panels and mounted the mid woofer on a 1/2 mdf ring.the new ep 5 hertz amplifier powers the system with power to spare.panasonic dvd head unit kicker 12 inch L5 audison cables all around.the sound quality is crisp and it also pumps real clear mid bass.however this is not by any means the optimum vehicle layout or placement for the ultimate sq but for normal people who can afford a newer car and some good gear hertz will deliver every time with a quality product solution.anyone in car audio world have the new hertz monster spl 15s??
im interested in some feedback on some usage i get mine pair in sept/oct going in the "crx" run the hp1kd down to 1 ohm and use all 3200 rms to beat the new 15s......
