Hey u guys I would appreciate some help.

HI!
I recently bought a 2000 Lincoln ls. with the basic 4 speaker car audio system.
I'm replacing the factory stereo with an eclipse cd7000 head unit with bluetooth kit i got both for 50 bucks. I though this HU would be an awesome HU
For a sound system. What intend to have in this car is Sq and spl.
Beforehand i had a ford explored with 1 kicker l5.

With the linc i plan to replace the 4 factory speakers THEYRE HORRIBLE!!!!!!
With some aftermarket once the factory speaker size 6x8 and are in the doors. There are so manny speakers which would fit with adapters I cant make a decison. I wanna go with something mid price range i dont want low end pioneers, But i don't want my money spent on high end focals. Something mid range.

And For the bass it's obviously have to be in the trunk trunk space wouldnt be an issue for me since I only have a GF and no kids so i can use up all the trunk space i want. I want it to sound good. I wanna make the bass both to be good sq and spl. I totaly loved the kickers in my old car. (with the original big kicker box)B ut im affraid that it wont be as good as in this car.

So can u guys help me build a nice sounding system for my linc please.

Oh Yea i have no idea which amplifiers to go with. but atleast my head unit has 3 sets of 5v preouts.

Any help would good thank you guys in advance

The head unit is a solid choice, you are not going wrong there. for speakers it's a tough call, depends what local retailers in your area are carrying really. Go to a few shops and shop with your ears.

For bass, if your a kicker fan go Kicker they make a great product. but in a lincoln if you want more bass than rattles you'll need to invest in a healthy amount of sound deadening in the trunk. Primarily the trunk lid, rear deck and side panels in the trunk. Hopefully your car was never rust proofed.

feel free to elaborate more on what your looking to achive with this and your idas for parts.

Cheers
Donald

Well basically i wanna build up a system in the linc which both sounds good outside and inside of the car. Today I installed the cd7000 in the linc. But the factory speakers are horrible what should i replace them with and what should i amplify them with? Both the front and rear speakers. Should i get components.
Which company has a good 6x8 sized speaker?

Depends on your budget. Morel makes incredible speakers, Eclipse makes some great midpriced ones.

who cares about outside the car..the better it sounds outside the car, the more sound you re losing inside the car. for 6x8's great speakers for the price are Pioneer D6802R's.

Really you should make adapter plates and go with a good 6.5" component set. I can never stress it enough to go your local retailer with a good reputation and ask questions. they will give you good ideas and with the market how it is today most have extremely competetive pricing.
