im installing 2 15" kicker l7 and i was goin buy the 2000 rms hifonics amp? whats your opinion on them?

 

there high wattage amps are ok but stay away from there low power amps.. i would go with the xxx series of smokestream befor them. or if you can pony up the do the mtx ta2001 or the pioneer prs2000spl amp.. both are bullet proof and give over 3000watts rms..

HiFonics has positioned themselves as a value brand - not junk but nothing fantastic. You can do better for the same money but you can do worse as well.

 

terry brocks used the hifonics cyclops amps for years in his record setting crx he swears by those amps

what gen. were his amps luke?

 

i beleive he said hes had his amps since 2006

 

lots of power for less money......but I hear they lack in the sound quality department.(I've read this a few times...haven't actually heard them)

mb quart and hifonics are made by the same company but look at the guts
