Overall there amps are not bad at all, a touch over-rated but work well.

I have a Hifonics Brutus BX1606D, running 2 Kicker Solo-Baric L7 15" @ 2ohm... I am very surprise on what this amp can do. It is small but it is very heavy. It hasn't gave me a problem. I have 1 year and it is like new! I trust in hifonics they have goood amp. I recommend you to buy it!

i get my from the states dude, got 2 type r's for $109 ea(brandnew,in box sealed) and i got that hifonics amp for $265...great deals out on the web.i went to a few audio stores here in Edmonton and type r subs cost just under $300 each,i saved like $400,and the Canadian dollar is pretty high up there right now so u dont really have to care about conversion rates.if you dont mind waiting a couple weeks for your goods then hit up the net.

I have heard that they only get close to rated power at 1ohm. no first hand experiance on that though.
seems to be the common thing said about them, and they like to draw power.
