How do I fix this tear in my speaker?

Hello!

I am a noob when it comes to car audio but decided to upgrade the sound system in my Jeep. While moving the speakers from my house into my garage, I managed to tear one of the speakers. The tear is on the outside ring of the speaker. I dont know if this is bad or fixable but I need some help. What should I do in this situation? I have attached a picture so you can get a better idea.

Appreciate the help,
Thanks!

goop or any rubberized flexible compound will help seal it up! it has happened to many speakers over the years
