Here is some testing I got on weekend, I was pretty amazed with the results.
I only used 20, 30 , 35, 40, 45, 50 , 55, 60, 65 hz for the test. But on music this thing hits hard on all them freqs. the 20 hz peaked @147.3 lol.. only 13db to go. I need to try 25 hz as well I see, The houses 3 down from me dont like very much when I play with doors open

And you think my welds mean nothing eh? hehe. And this is not even finished to B pillar yet. The steel along with 2 sheets on roof/floor yeilded over 2 db gain between the C and B,. THe sides are not enclosed yet
And yes Kirby, I had it perfectly flat on sat testing, one freq at a time, but for some reason the screen shot didnt save. so I did quick test on sunday to get it back so I could paste it facebook. , It was crazy. I may have to do it again jsut to prove it. No volume adj. left on 25 out of 30, and ran the freq from 30 upto 65.

For 20-30 HZ performance, I would use a sealed box with a sub that rolls off (in-box) at 20-30 HZ with a Q of .707 or lower. The only well known sub that comes close to a 20 HZ roll off with a flat response @ .707, is the RE XXX 18 in 26 cubes, however impractical. The RE MX 18 looks good too, needing something like 7.5 cubes for 25 @ .7. The next best are the LMS subs (Eclipse SW, Audiopulse, Soundsplinter). The new Eclipse SW 12's look great in sealed boxes - 1.5 cubes @ 28 HZ / Q .5x, and are +4.5 dB sensitive over the old models.
A highly sensitive sub with lots of motor force, little xmax, and rolls off in a practical-sealed box @ 20 HZ with a high Q (because really less than 20 HZ doesn't matter), I think would be ideal. I havn't seen one though, maybe it's impossible?
