between $2000 and $3000 for sure. I've done many upgrades to reach the system I have now that works great.

JVC KD-ADV6270 $400
Blaupunkt TSx352 fronts, $100
Inifity Reference 2way 6x9" rears, $200
Aura Bass Shakers x4, $200
MTX Audio Thunder 4244, $160
Blaupunkt PA275M, $200
JL Audio 10w6v2 sub $700
JL 500/1 amp, $200
24sq Dynamat in trunk, $200
200A alt, $400
Optima Red top $200
total $2960

thats just what I have now, have had two other decks, mono amp, 3 subs, 3 sub boxes, in the past
current setup same as what I paid for the car!

I have $6000 set aside for a new premium system this fall, about half of that will be spent just on the deck and amp (Eclipse CD7100 and Zapco DC650.6).

I don't really have a limit, if it's something I want, I just start saving my money till I have enough to get it.

great HU and a great amp but you are paying for EQ and TA in both units...might want to consider a simple amp OR a simple HU... but hey they are both so good you would not regret the purchase

Enough to feel like crying when thinking of it, enough to start laughing looking at it

Got way to great of a deal (s). The Mini's gear retailed at about 6k, the Explorer's around 3k, and the mini9 spl/ Spl in the Explorer (shared gear) 7k. This is for gear only. I have out of pocket about 1k for each system, so 3k total invested. Great friends, ausum opertunties have made this happen. And I was told it couldn't be done!

True, I would use the adjustments in the amp to tune the system to the car, and use the HU for personal adjustments.
