i just got me 2 MTX MZS1004 and a closed box to put them in. i got a stinger pro 1 farad cap and

"The AS-5100 delivers All the features that some of the most famous amplifiers don\'t have. Great choice for power and performance! With this Amp, you get at total of 2900 Watts Max of POWER. Built especially to smooth down the High peak audio noise with a integrated Digital cross over. This amp will bring you more power than any other one in is categories. This amp as a 4.1 Channel output! That means 4 output at 350W/Each and 1 Sub output at 1500W, for a total of 5 CHANNEL ! Powered by Mosfet Output system."

amp.

my problem is, im thinking on bridging the 2 350W outputs for each speaker... but i am not too sure what kinda wiring i should do to the subs. any ideas... i read best with pretty pictures if someone can diagram this out for me

that is awesome, thx for the reply. i dont have this amp yet... i should have it in a few days. from reading the explanation

"That means 4 output at 350W/Each and 1 Sub output at 1500W, for a total of 5 CHANNEL "

this is not just a 2 channel stereo output, but 4 + 1 output. not typical. that is why i need some help. im sure the manual will explain this, but just in case. that's why i am asking for some help still.

i also got 1 stereo bulldog 29.99 wal-mart special mid-high range and 2 6x9 (Imanockoff). these would NEVER be able to handle 200+ watts. i want to get the MOST outta the amp to the MTX subs.

If you havent paid for the amp yet I might rethink the purchase...

I dont know what it costs to buy but 2.9KW is probably less then 500wrms all channels driven into nominal load.... maybe alot less if it sucks...

You would probably be better off with a different amp anyway... like a 4ch or a small monoblock....

Edit: Oh wait.. Ive never used that amp.. I guess it really could put out 2900 watts of power... seeing as how I have no experience and it says so right on the front.. it must !!

NOT...

Yes, the power ratings on that amp are way overrated, it appears to have two 30 amp fuses on board, power=voltage x current, not a chance that amp will make its rated power. Might work for you, if the price is right, just don't expect miracles from it......

Edit: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...750870928&rd=1

It states that it has two 35 amp fuses on it. Expect total power around the 500 watt mark for all channels, as Haunz stated ^^^^^
