how would i hook up a mic to car audio ...?

my friends has a party bus and he wants to hook up an mic in it how would i do that?...?

i do kenwoods with cd changer input with the aux interface
and wire a mike to it and it works great
i use these for the local tour buses

If your deck has an aux input, you just need to add a microphone preamp. We have them at our store for like $30 or so and it's powered by a 9v battery.

i do mine with no preamps and they work just fine
