I sent me Sony deck in to get repaired the other day at a shop around here and it got me thinking. The place repairs sony, JVC, and Panasonic electronics. Is it possible or is it illigal to buy broken decks from these brands that are still covered under warranty from people that dont need to get them fixed and send them to this shop and get repaired?

 

You can, the warranty is transverable you only need to have the original receipt. If it's not stollen stuff I don't see why that could be illegal.

 

so if i get a deck with a reciept from Montreal and take it to a place here in Halifax they shouldnt ask any questions?

 

no prob if it's from a real shop it will be ok.
