So...I tore my car apart thinking I would have everything I needed by now. Silence is nice for a little while but I am starting to get the shakes! I need my music back!

Waiting on the Q450.4 to be shipped to Sacramento. Is there another amp that is available to push these XS-65 components I got sitting around or am I at the mercy of the manufacturing gods?

"Sorry US Customs decided to send out shipment to secondary inspection delaying receipt even further. I saw on the news last Friday that the US Customs has nabbed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of counterfeit sunglasses coming in from China over the last 4 months. This, unfortunately, will delay ALL shipments (in all industries) coming from Asia. It sucks for us but not much we can do. "

Yup, it happens, with every manufacturer out there, last week I read a post by Sundown audio when they had their SA-8 subs coming in, same story, customs is customs.

What good car audio company's manufacture in the USA ? I wanted to see how the prices compare having parts built here...

 

actually, if you buy from a company that builds in the states, I think you actually save money because of NAFTA, if thats still going on.

 

no one builds in the US anymore.

 

Some still do, but not their entire product line accept for zed as far as I know.

 

Even then all of his components would probably come from the US, so he's stuck in the same boat one way or another.

(this is an assumption on my part and not based on any facts... Zed, please don't sue me, I've got big enough problems with ID!!)
