btw little update on what was a topic about buying my speakers.
I e-mailed Rick at Custom Car Audio in Whitby to ask if he could grab those ID's for me, called him next day to see what's up, he said he was waiting for response from ID.
If it wouldn't be for Will from ID (horsemanwill) i'd still be waiting for Rick's response, supposedly they told Rick they will be out of stock for a while and I guess since there's no sale for him he didn't even bother to reply. I'm disapointed by that shop since it was recommended by others on this site.

why would you be disappointed because its recommended by people on this site? shouldn't you be disappointed with ID for not getting back to one of their "distributors" or "licensed retailers" or "whatever else you want to call them" ? you even said you spoke with a rep who specifically told you its more than likely nothing would be in stock in Canada...then you put a smiley face...then said that adler guy would know...how would he? and how did horsemanwill help you? unless he called them on 3 way with you or something
Lemme write it exactly how I meant it, maybe I used the wrong words, will write it fast, lunch time at work
I called ID and talked to Sean if he would ship direct or recommend distributor in Canada so he said call Rick at Custom Car Audio because he's good guy and he's one of his distributors. So I e-mailed Rick asking for CTX6 and 2 ID 8'' knowing I will have to wait for it to be shipped to them first, that's what I meant out of stock. Then I got no response so 36hours later I called Rick to check what's up, he said he's waiting for response from ID on pricing.
Few hours later Will (horsemanwill) e-mailed me that Sean try to contact Rick but he was already closed and then next day he told me Sean got in touch with Rick and let him know that the items will be out of stock for few weeks. That was 4 days ago, and I got no further response from Rick.
That's what I meant that if it wasn't for Will contacting me and saying Rick won't be able to get it, I would still wait for Rick to respond, meanwhile I placed the order at woofersetc.
Don't reply like a lawyer, just ask nicely, this is my first car audio built, I don't know car audio company's and just posting my experience.

You are in Milton. Go see Davis at selective sound.
From my personal experiences with Image Dynamics, Sean is a moron. Thus, backing that up with more moron'ness from Will. That is far too many morons for 1 company already.
And from the sounds of it, that poor shop experienced the same morons and thus couldn't accommodate their customer.
Again, go see Davis at Selective sound since you are in Milton, he's close to Milton. If you are willing to drive all over the place, we have awesome vendors from everywhere.

hey I could answer like a ***** but then you'd get upset, but I'll try my best not to be lawyerish. aaannnnnyyyywaaaayyyys, yo check it. my point was that you said you was disappointed with dat shop cuz people here said call them. it aint the shops fault that they don't got that ish, and shipping takes time homie, so even if he did order it you still gotta wait for it to show up, y'know? and you still ain't told us how you ended up listening to Will, or why, you just...did. I was wondering why you said what you did, cuz it puzzled me and , you know my steeze, I ain't on all that yakkity yak, don't come back bullspit son. but yeah, I was just curious. plus I thought horse and Sean were buddies, but either way I don't know why you'd listen to him.
as for your first build, seems like quite a start to jump to ID right away, and the fact that you're having this much trouble should tell you something. but I digress.
