I had one long wire from my last car's positive wire and then cut it into two pieces for the pos/ground for this car; that is the reason why they are the same color (which really does not bother me at all).

The battery is on the left side but the only place I was able to run the wires was on the right side. Crossing under the exhaust pipe was kind of scary but I think it will be fine. If not, well luckily I invested in a fuse.

In the picture, the pos wire runs from the battery, around a bottle, and to the fuse holder. That is temporary cuz I did not feel like cutting the wire shorter at that moment.

I think you should have protected your wires. There is a lot of stuff that can melt, cut, or damage you wire which can effect you system. Here is how I did mine.

RONA is selling the conduite (SP) off really cheap. I think I paid about $20 for 40 ft. plus all the clamps and stuff. It's easy to use and can be bent pretty well (serious bends require a heat gun).

^^canadian version of home depot, and that stuff is not wire loom in the normal sense. It's actually flexible metal armoured, insulated, protective conduit. It's great stuff to protect wires under a car...or anywhere else for that matter. Great job fozz!!!
