First off, it seems have some sort of electrical problem and that needs to be assessed before you get any more subs.
That amp gives 1000 RMS watts at 2 ohms. Throw a single Kicker S15L7 at it with a dual 4 ohm configuration. Even a Kicker S12L7 would work fine. I'm giving my S12L7 1000 watts and its happy as happy can be.
Heck I even have a few nice enclosures I could sell you for cheap if you want to go the Kicker 12" route. One's sealed and one's vented. PM me if you're interested.

don't buy kicker. I have had the worst problems with them. I suggest you look into eD, RE, Adire, SI, etc. Any of these companies offer great subs, for a reasonable price. From K series, or a SE sub, you won't be disappointed. Try a tempest and be amazed. The magnum isn't a push over by any means.

^^^ What problems have you had with Kicker Solo Barics? The only problems I've heard of people having is that they've blown the sub. 9 times out of 10 it will either be becuase the sub wasn't worked in properly or becuase the sub was getting a distorted signal.
My S12L7 was bought used and is probably 3 or 4 years old. It presents a clean sound, is very versatile and absolutely pounds.

To each his own, but I hated the way they sounded, and there was no user error on my part, I can assure you that. They got remotely loud, but sounded horrible doing so. IMO, you can get loud and still sound great while doing it. BTW, I did fry the sub after I got some new subs, this was a couple years ago, but thats because it was hooked up to the wall socket, sry no snuff pics or vids.
