I need help !!!

I have 2 kenwood 12s and a 1200 watt amp ( I know it isn't all that great ) when I first bought it all brandnew it hit both subs pretty hard. But now I can only hit one hard. If I take them and hook them up to my home audio they both slam ( the home audio is pushing less watts ). Any help would be great

if the amp is bridged (mono )and they are wired correctly one of the coils could
be damaged , I would use a multi meter and check the resistance of each coil

home amps put out rated power at 4ohm or 8ohm so they will push
a damaged coil with a bit more force , where a car amp needs it's 2ohm load

If your amp is 1 ohm stable I would go with the 2 ohm
