No to the insignia. It is a 2 channel amp and not a MONO SUB AMP. A mono amp can be used with 1 or more subs depending on the model and the subs it is wired to. 1000w RMS is lots of power for most subs.

It seems that you are having a hard time understanding what I am saying to you, things that are in your best interest. 3 times now I have asked you what sort of $ you would like to spend on a amp, 3 times no answer. Are you fluent in english or just trying your best?, this may be part of the issue. If you need to converse in french I will call in one of my part timers who is french to talk with you.

im trying to find the best amp, for a good price, of course, money doesnt grow on my tree.
i am only now trying to learn how sound systems work.
b4 i had 4 channel pionner amp,using 2 channels (i think) for 2 subs. i thought u needed 1 channel per sub or speaker.
i have boston generator 12'' subs. since on the web they reccomended up to 500 watts per sub, i figured i needed 1000 watts.
i saw a website,www.hifisoundconnection.com,with very good prices for amps.do you know anything about this site,are they new amps?

Joanna, I am all for helping someone to learn. Part of that is to also answer questions posed. I am actually quite shocked to say the least to see your name attached to the post. Take a little bit, read the forum rules. Contact Dukk and ask him to make you a Black Void member as you are employed in the industry. Questions like the ones you have are not new, they will be heard many many times and answered over and over again. I have no issues with this. I have issues when a question goes unanswered 3 or more times. So let's get some more info going here.
