My last Cav Z24 was a 97.
If it was electric, it was replaced, alt twice. Heater fan was the hardest to replace. Replaced all suspension parts as well.
2.4 Engine was great, 368,000 when i sold it.
My 06 Monte Carlo has 86,000 in 2-1/2 yrs. Haven't even done 1st brake job yet. 2 warraty repairs. Remote reciever and an emission solendoid.
The good thing is it came with a 140 amp alt.

well I just bought a 98 sunfire gt (2.4L) and it has s o m e pep but not really anything amazing. Its interior is wickedly cheap and rattles like a can full of marbles! the whole thing only has 147k on her and its like this? not quality if you ask me - will have fun making it sound decent after fixing all the rattles, lol. Definatly a disposable car.

If you are a new or learner driver and you are limited to the occupants you can carry, this points directly to a get loud and be reliable car, the Honda CRX. Proven performer to get stupid loud, looks good, easy to mod (wheels etc.) and proven reliable engine.
