To me, whats potentially worth while, is winning an award for Sound Quality 'and' SPL, I'll be doing both with the exact same setup, no tweeks at all, even to the crossover.... then again thats probably stupid, but since I've never competed, I'll find out soon enough. Im really confident my system rocks. Its not deathly loud but Im giddy about it, Its ultra-clean and accurate. (^_^) I LOVE Kicker, Vifa and DynAudio. There amazing!!!

 

if you're gonna do SPL, you better be using kicker subs as well as amps LOL. that vifa won't cut it. 2 12" L7s though, with the new 2500 RMS kicker amps... that could work.

 

Yeah I know Im gonna get slaughtered with the Vifa probably. After hearing Robs two Kicker L5s, and just how silly loud those little wee subs were, I know I stand little chance of winning. I'll try the Frankensub, and see how well that pans out. (^_^) Its gonna be three (+) subs in one. All professionally built. SO I have no idea what it'll look like or anything. All I know is, I hope it doesn't blow, or its all for not then. hopefully by then, I'll have the 500SI or the Zr1000, Im selling my gear locally to afford it, the 240 has gotta go, as well as lots of other goodies, to afford something decent.
