35% power
35% subs
10% head unilt
10% front/rear stage
10% wire

It all starts at the source, buy the best one you can afford!......This is exactly the same with home audio (hi-fi).

Probably like this:

25% head
28% good 4 channel amp
22% front stage
19% subs
7% wire

I based this on a $1600 dollar system....dollar amounts like this:

$400 head
$450 4 channel
$350 set of seperates
$300 2 decent 10" subs
$100 a decent amp kit and some better than stock speaker wire.

In a more expensive system I would spend more on the front speakers and use seperate amps for hf/lf.

Not on topic..... but looking beyond......

$1 on gear.
$3 on install without a doubt...... give or take within reason. Like if I'm installing $16,000 Rainbow references, NO, I'm not going to spend $48,000 on install......... jeeeesus ...... ha, ha, ha!!!
