Ok, i had a pair of infinity perfect 6.1's but one of the mids blew and future shop is saying they will exchange them for the infinity refs as they don't carry the perfect line anymore. I could of bought these to begin with and saved some dough but that's another story alltogether. Anyone heard these? How do they compare to the perfect series?

I always though futureshop's warranty policy is that if they don't stock the product anymore, they can only give you something better?

Yeah, i thought so too! They don't really have anything better though, as i bought the last pair they had (demo model) so i got them cheaper than i would have even on the net. They were the most expensive car speakers i've ever seen there now the most expensive they have is the http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...d=&newdeptid=9

Anyone have any clue when infinity will bring out a new top line?

Don't exchange them then - have FS send the mid back to Infinity for replacement. Yeah you are out a speaker for a few weeks but you get to keep the Refs. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

That's what i tried to get them to do a while back but they said they don't send back as it costs too much to repair or some crap. I'll try another shop and see what they say. This happened a while ago and i only notice the blown sound at certain levels of volume so i haven't been back for a bit. Thanks for the tip though.
