Hey, I checked these out today at Future Shop

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...d=&newdeptid=9

They sounded pretty decent, they were very high up in the board though. Seemed like they have decent bass response and high end. Anyone run these, or heard them in a car? Thanks!

I ran them for awhile. They are decent, tweets are a bit bright, had good volume with 50 watts/channel. Best thing is they can be had barely used for less than $100. Check Ebay and the car audio boards.

very good sound quality...tweets are a bit bright for some peoples liking, but you can cut them down a bit at the cross-over to your liking

300 seems a bit pricey... did it satisfy you at the freq extremes? Not too bright or too hot/ cool a mid-bass (100 to 300 Hz). These are everyone’s complaints on Infinity stuff (but the quality is pretty good). There is a lot of good stuff at that price point... can you say it is the best (most real sounding) you can afford? I am not an Infinity hater... they tend to have an identifiable ‘sound’ but it is a decent sound. I do not think I have heard the silk dome tweeter though!

I didn't take a very long listen to them, it was in the small sound room at FS. I have picked them up from Mik, I think they will fit the bill nicely.

Is that right? Right now I am running some crappy Clarion 6.5's for my mids, highpassed off the deck at 200hz and am running just the tweeters in my Orion 4x6's in the dash, and I am fairly happy with the sound. I am sure that they will do the trick, especially for the price. This is in a Jeep after all, not the quietest vehicle around. Thanks for all of the input people, appreciate it.
